Sept 2021 – June 2022

In partnership with Bristol Borough School District, BRT’s Education Department is providing year-round arts educational classes in musical theatre and hip hop dance at Snyder-Girotti Elementary School from Sept 2021- June 2022. Classes are offered during the school day to all 1st and 2nd grade students.

Our goal is to develop an arts educational program that encourages social and emotional learning, positive self-esteem building, creative expression, problem-solving skills, and so much more!”

History of BRT Education

BRT’s Education department began teaching classes July 7-30, 2021 in partnership with Bristol Township YMCA 21st Century Hybrid Summer camps.

Those free programs were offered to all students who reside in Bristol Township and were offered by Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Education in partnership with the YMCA of Bucks County and the Bristol Township School District. Classes taught are listed below.”

BRT’s Education classes provided:

Mill Creek Elementary School

– Musical theatre and hip hop dance

Truman High School

– Junior high age youth: hip hop dance and stage combat

– High school age youth: hip hop dance, music and acting

– Weekly youth open mics facilitated by BRT teaching artists.

Bristol Riverside Theatre Cultural Pass

The Bristol Riverside Theatre Cultural Pass & Collection allows you to see BRT shows for FREE!

Cultural passes are available at the Grundy Library. Each pass gives you two tickets to a show in our 2021-2022 mainstage season:

• A Comedy of Tenors (March 8-March 27, 2022)
• A Few Good Men (May 3-May 22, 2022)
