About ArtRageous

ArtRageous is a free summer arts camp.

This summer 2020 we went virtual! Offering a positive and creative experience in each campers day to stay connected and learn remotely. Campers enjoyed four weeks of classes including; Arts and Crafts, Musical Theatre, and Hip Hop Dance. ArtRageous classes are taught by highly accomplished and skilled Teaching Artists.

Admission information

New camper admission is dependent on how many available spots per age group are available. New campers are considered on a first come, first served registration basis. Registration information will be available on this website in the spring of 2021.

Prior year 2020 campers are automatically re-enrolled for next summer. ArtRageous administration will be in contact as we move closer to the next camp season.

Mark Boston and Shanika Boston (Hip Hop Dance) Mark and Shanika Boston have been paired to dance. For the past 12+ years, they have spent countless hours choreographing for stage plays, TV shows, dance competitions, all while pursuing their own dance careers. Their own passion has lead them to tv shows, award shows, music videos and TV commercials but nothing as rewarding as leading weekly classes at our dance company (I Am Phresh Dance Academy), which offers classes to hundreds of student per year. Working with students from all ages has afforded them the opportunity to mentor dancers in the area of discipline, sportsmanship, and the art of performance is their passion. It has also been a pleasure to witness both of their youth and adult dance companies to place 1st in multiple World of Dance, Dance Competitions theater shows (Matilda, The King and I etc…), world tours (Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber etc…) and much more. Dance for them has become a way that they as a team can be conduits for change and impact the lives of the creatives in a way that shifts them to pursue unspeakable dreams and their passions in life.

Katrina enjoys teaching at Artrageous because of the kids! Every child who participates in this program is full of creative potential that is just waiting to be tapped into. The program is about growing as an individual and making real connections with others through the arts. It’s a wonderful opportunity for kids and she is proud and grateful to be a part of it.
