Bristol Riverside Theatre (BRT) is a professional regional theatre in the historic district of Bristol Borough. The theatre, located in a renovated movie house, combines the excitement of a large stage with the intimacy of a 300-seat theater. Since 1986, BRT has brought consistently acclaimed professional theater to Bucks County and maintained a long-term commitment to finding and developing new plays. The theatre has grown to produce over 200 performances every year, including five mainstage productions, special presented events, a summer music fest series, a play reading series, and a summer camp every year. BRT has produced 140 works, premiered 23 plays and musicals, and developed international touring and producing relationships.

Seating
BRT has a standard proscenium style seating arrangement. The seating configuration consists of an orchestra level that seats 220 patroons. (4 ADA compliant) The venue also features a balcony level which seats an additional 86 patrons. Total seating available is 306. (Photos above)

Dressing Room & Green Room
Women’s Dressing room
Dressing rooms are located downstairs one level below the stage deck. The women’s dressing room consists of 8 stations including mirrors, lights and electrical outlets at each station. Also located inside the dressing room is a private lady’s restroom and shower. Costume racks and wig forms are also provided within. (Photo below)
Men’s Dressing room
Dressing rooms are located downstairs one level below the stage deck. The men’s dressing room consists of 8 stations including mirrors, lights and electrical outlets at each station. Also located inside the dressing room is a private men’s restroom and shower. Costume racks and wig forms are also provided within.
Laundry
A fully stocked laundry area is located just outside the dressing rooms where costumes can be cleaned and/or repaired. Irons, ironing boards and a steamer is also located in this area.
Greenroom
The separate Greenroom is located just outside of the dressing rooms. It includes a dining area where coffee and tea and refreshments are served. Hot meals can be provided and served in this location. A full-size refrigerator is also located in this area for food and drinks. Several sofas and chairs are also located in the greenroom for relaxation.
The stage door to the venue is in the greenroom from the park on the riverside of the building. (Pictured above) Access from outside brings you directly into the greenroom and dressing room area of the venue.
