June 15 – 25 Rosemary Clooney & Friends: Come On-a My House will have you dancing in the aisles to the pop music of the 1950s. Known as the golden age of pop, the 1950s gave a whole new meaning to the term “girl power”. You’ll hear songs from Doris Day, Patti Page, Kay Starr, Teresa Brewer, and, of course, Rosemary Clooney, just to name a few.


DEMETRIA JOYCE BAILEY is happy to be back at BRT after having such a good time in Working: a Musical and An American Christmas Songbook. Yes…it happened, Demetria and the Fellas have been asked to be a headliner for 20th Celebration of 1st Night Haddonfield December 31st (check her website for details)!  TV: Regional Commercial Take it Easy-AmeriHealth (Lead), California Rep. in Netflix House of Cards, Pearlene Scott in HBO’s The Wire, The Nurse in CBS’ Hack. In Concert: Barry Manilow concert tour, Philadelphia’s July 4th Celebration at 20th& the Parkway, BRT Summer Music Fest. Solo Shows:  2017 A Mother’s Day Celebration, A Moment In Time and 3 Ladies & Me.  On Stage: Mama Morton in Chicago starring Justin Guarini, Electra in Gypsy starring Tovah Feldshuh and Robert Newman, Billie Holiday in Comes Love, Mom in Passing Strange, Sis Leo in Nunsense, Charlene Woodard in Ain’t Misbehavin’ and Ethel Waters in Ethel Waters, His Eye Is On The Sparrow (Barrymore Nominated – Best Actress).  If you want to take home more than just memories, pick up a copy of Demetria’s new release Let The Good Times Roll with Jive Jump & Wail and her debut CD Takin’ a Chance… in the lobby.  Yes, you can follow Demetria on her website for the latest ~~ ~~ Phil 4:13

SARAH J. GAFGEN couldn’t be more delighted to be back at BRT where she was seen as Emma Goldman (Ragtime) and Edith (Pirates of Penzance). Some other favorite roles include Annie Oakley (Annie Get Your Gun), Agnes Gooch (Mame), and Joanne (Vanities). Sarah has appeared on stage at The Walnut Street Theatre, Media Theatre, Hedgerow Theatre and Montgomery Theatre, among others. Thanks to Keith and the amazing BRT family for the opportunity to be a part of this great musical event and share the stage with these incredible ladies! Love to Carl, Mom and Dad.

MAGGIE GRIFFIN-SMITH is so excited to be back at BRT! She was last seen here in Jesus Christ Superstar. Other credits include: The Eagle Theatre – Bonnie & Clyde (Bonnie), Into the Woods (Baker’s Wife), Our Town (Emily Webb), Godspell (Day By Day); Walnut Street Theatre – Harvey (US Myrtle Mae). Other regional favorites: My Fair Lady (Eliza Doolittle), Jekyll & Hyde (Emma), Phantom (Christine), Cinderella (Cinderella). Maggie has studied with Shakespeare & Co., Circle in the Square and Walnut Street Theatre, and performed in Tennessee, Atlanta, Las Vegas, New York and New Zealand. Maggie is also a Teaching Artist for Theatre Horizon and Burn Brae Arts Camp. Up next: America Sings (Bristol Riverside Theatre) and The Shape of Things (The Eagle Theatre). More info./show dates: t. ELYSE LANGLEY is thrilled to be back at BRT!  Elyse last performed in A Fireside Christmas at the Fireside Theatre in WI. Regional credits: 1776 (Abigail Adams, The Media Theatre), Man of La Mancha (TUTS), Kiss Me, Kate (Kate, NJPAC), Sweeney Todd (NJPAC). Elyse holds a Bachelors of Music degree from Westminster Choir College. Select credits include: Legally Blonde (Vivienne), Ragtime (Emma Goldman, Princeton Univ.), Midnight Madness (NJPAC/NYMF). Proud member of AEA.  Love to my supportive family and Fiancé James.

ALANNA J. SMITH is excited to make her BRT debut! Philly credits include The Importance of Being Earnest, The Wizard of Oz, A Christmas Story (Walnut Street Theatre). Next up: Philia in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Walnut Street Theatre). Proud Ithaca College grad!
