Marketing Associate 

Bristol Riverside Theatre is a highly praised professional theatre in Bucks County, PA, mounting Mainstage

productions, concerts, children’s theatre, and a staged reading series of new plays. BRT is seeking an experienced

Marketing Associate with skills in both new and traditional media.

The Marketing Associate will work closely with the Marketing Director to devise and implement promotions, audience development

initiatives, and ensure that integrated and consistent messaging is delivered to all audience segments.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Producing printed theatre programs
  • Securing lists for mass mailings of subscription brochures and show specific special offers.
  • Creating content and posting to social networking sites
  • Maintaining up-to-date information on BRT website
  • Supervising the distribution of printed materials
  • Acting as in-house liaison for group sales customers, program advertisers and corporate clients.
  • Assisting in creation and execution of promotions and contests
  • Production of press kits and show packets.
  • Maintenance of lobby and exterior signage.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.A. or B.S. in communications, marketing, business
  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in communications, marketing, or other promotional experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Diligent in meeting deadlines and able to work well under pressure.
  • Flexible, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Direct experience with web and social networking sites.
  • Solid computer skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with non-profits or performing arts desirable.

PRODUCTION POSITIONS
BRISTOL RIVERSIDE THEATRE, an Equity LOA theatre, located on the Delaware River twenty miles north of Philadelphia, annually accepts resumes for potential vacancies in its PRODUCTION STAFF. Successful candidates will be organized self-starters, strong communicators, and hard-working team members who are willing to accept challenges in BRT’s continuing artistic growth. All employees will report to the Production Manager. These seasonal positions run early September through late May, with possible year-round employment depending on the Theatre’s summer season needs. BRT produces a five-show Main Stage season and a Holiday Concert, with a handful of Special Events presentations.


2008-2009 Season:
 

Overhire Technicians
Accepting resumes for local carpenters, electricians, scenic assistants, stitchers, and props runners.  Work varies from four week run crew positions to occasional single day carpentry or lighting assistance.  Schedules fluctuate: some weekends, some late night calls.  Hourly pay commensurate with experience.
