PRODUCTION
ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER
BRT is currently looking for an AEA Assistant Stage Manager for our upcoming production of Gypsy. Employee is responsible for assisting the Production Stage Manager in a wide variety of areas including, but not limited to, pre-production paperwork and communications, monitoring and running rehearsals, generating running sheets for and supervising the stage crew, monitoring and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of rehearsal and performance spaces, and assisting in strike and post-production clean-up. Contract dates are from November 8th through January 15th. Please be aware that there are performances schedules around all of the holiday season related days. The Assistant Stage Manager will report directly to the Production Stage Manager and, as a member of the production staff, is ultimately responsible to the Production Manager.

ADMINISTRATIVE
P/T BOX OFFICE ASSOCIATE
Busy non-profit theatre is hiring a part time Box Office Associate to work 15-20 hours per week, to begin immediately. Must have outstanding customer service skills, be patient, friendly, detail oriented, and present excellent references. Availability during show performances on nights, weekends and 1-2 weekday matinees is a must, as well as during holidays. Previous experience with Tessitura ticketing software and cash handling a plus.
The box office is a fast paced consumer oriented environment - the successful candidate will have previous customer service experience, be comfortable working with advanced database systems, work fluently with Microsoft office programs, be friendly and outgoing, detail oriented, and passionate about theatre.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Will call - quickly and efficiently deliver tickets in a fast paced and stressful pre-show environment
- Sales - process sales and exchanges while patiently explaining offerings to patrons
- Reporting - accurately report on sales
Minimum Qualifications:
- A love of theatre
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Able to work well under pressure
- Detail oriented
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience
- Excellent references from previous employers
- Proficiency with Tessitura database system a plus
- Must be 18 years or older.
Pay Rate: $10 per hour

MARKETING INTERNSHIP
Bristol Riverside Theatre is looking for Marketing Interns! This is a great internship for a college student or a very mature high school student. Internships require a minimum of 5 hours per week (10-20 hours preferred) for a minimum of 6 weeks (longer preferred). The marketing intern will work with a fun, small team on specific projects that may involve graphic design, creating programs, organizing promotional or social events, distributing posters and fliers, blogging, making short videos, tweeting, and more.

VOLUNTEER
USHERS
What better way to spend an evening or afternoon than volunteering at BRT? You’ll see great productions for free, and work with some terrific people who enjoy theatre as much as you do! Volunteers act as ushers, ticket takers, and concessions sales personnel, and more.
ADMINISTRATIVE/MARKETING
Volunteers are also needed to help with bulk mailings, update mailing lists, distribute posters and literature, and to help with special events planned at the theatre. And there are many other opportunities, just let us know what your special skill or interest is, and we’ll see if there is a match with a volunteer position.
